Sun-Tech Provides Safety Against Injury
Safety and Security film was originally developed as a defense against terrorism and violence, which is why it has been specified for many high profile Federal buildings including the Pentagon.
The primary function of Safety and Security film is to help reduce the risk of damage and injury caused when glass breaks. These specially constructed window films are thicker and have a powerful adhesive system which bonds tightly to the glass, so providing a tough, protective shield which strengthens glass and helps to keep shards of broken glass in place.
Today this product can protect your family or employees from the dangers of injury from flying glass shards in accidents and explosions, or from accidentally running through a glass door.

Safety and Security film reduces property damage from glass breakage as a result of earthquakes, hurricanes and other natural disasters.
Sun-Tech Provides Safety Against Crime
 If an intruder smashes a glass window or door, he can be in your property in seconds. Safety and Security films resist penetration and tearing and hold the broken glass together. This can help deter break-ins and ‘smash-and-grab’ theft.
For added protection, Security Attachment Systems can be added to the glass frame which will greatly increase resistance to pushing the broken glass out of its frame.

2.THE WET GLAZE SYSTEM
After Safety and Security Film is installed, Dow Corning 995 Structural Silicone is applied to create a bond that connects the filmed glass to the existing window frame. In addition Sun-Tech installs BondKap Security Film Anchoring System which gives a pleasing appearance to the strength and versatility of wet glaze

Other Useful Properties of Safety and Security Film
Safety and Security films are available in clear and a variety of tinted versions and in thickness varying from 2 - 11 mil. Like Residential and Commercial window films, Safety and Security film will block ultraviolet rays, thus protecting furnishings and the tinted versions will reduce heat and glare
Sun-Tech Provides a Solution to
Costly Vandalism
 Sun-Tech offers protective Anti-Graffiti film which acts as a barrier to protect glass and other smooth surfaces from graffiti, scratching, etching and vandalism: only the film is damaged, leaving the underneath surface untouched.
Anti-Graffiti film is a clear, easily removable film which can be quickly installed after an incident. Replacing glass windows, bus shelters, stainless steel elevator doors and so on is very costly and time consuming, replacing Anti-Graffiti film can be done at a fraction of the cost and time.
